General terms and conditions

1. Validity

Schladming-Dachstein Tourismus GmbH – hereafter referred to as Schladming-Dachstein – offers a voucher system for the purchase of vouchers at www.schladming-dachstein.at and on additional platforms if required. Vouchers can only be redeemed at current partner organisations (mountain railways, accommodation).

2. Conditions of purchase and delivery

a) Vouchers issued by Schladming-Dachstein can be purchased via credit card payment or direct transfer and printed or ordered at home. The contract is made with Schladming-Dachstein, who is also the settlement partner.
b) Vouchers only become valid upon payment of the full sum. Vouchers do not attract VAT owing to the non-assignable nature of the service content. Ordered or purchased vouchers may not be exchanged for cash.
c) Vouchers can only be booked and redeemed by the customer through current partner organisations (mountain railways and accommodation providers in the Schladming-Dachstein region, as specified at www.schladming-dachstein.at). Schladming-Dachstein's partner organisations have secure access to the "voucher system" and can cancel vouchers directly by entering the printed barcode.
d) Schladming-Dachstein only calculates the value of the voucher - consumption exceeding the value of the voucher should be negotiated directly between the customer and the relevant partner organisation. If the entire value of the voucher is not redeemed, the customer retains the remainder on the voucher. The voucher can be reprinted with the remaining amount, although this is not necessary. Schladming-Dachstein is not able to refund the remaining amount. The relevant general terms and conditions (contract terms) of the partner organisation shall apply as of the redemption of the voucher.
e) Only natural, legal persons with full legal capacity are permitted to book vouchers.
f) The voucher remains the property of Schladming-Dachstein until full payment is received. Prior to this point in time the customer cannot access the voucher, while after payment the customer bears the risk of loss, damage or destruction. In the event of loss, theft or damage of the voucher (illegibility of the voucher code or the voucher number), the customer is not entitled to a replacement.
g) Complaints regarding damaged or undelivered products can only be considered within 14 days from the date of dispatch.

3. Return (cancellation)

The voucher may be returned to Schladming-Dachstein Tourismus GmbH by registered mail within 14 days of receipt, provided no booking has been made. Any costs of returning the voucher are to be borne by the customer. Upon receipt of the voucher, the appropriate sum will be transferred from Schladming-Dachstein to the customer's nominated account. This return option is only available to customers who are consumers under the Austrian Consumer Protection Act.

4. Validity

In accordance with the ruling of the Supreme Court (2012), purchased vouchers are valid for a period of 30 years from the date of issue.

5. Liability

Schladming-Dachstein accepts no liability for the redemption of vouchers by relevant partner organisations. The customer uses this website at his/her own risk.
